Installation

Step 1: Install the Extension

Click to install the Noverload extension for Chrome, Brave, Edge, and other Chromium browsers

Step 2: Generate an API Token

To connect the extension to your Noverload account, you'll need to generate an API token:

Go to Settings → Apps in your Noverload dashboard
Find the Chrome Extension section
Click Generate Token
Copy the token (you'll only see it once!)

Step 3: Connect the Extension

Click the Noverload extension icon in your browser toolbar
Paste your API token when prompted
You're ready to start saving content!

Firefox and Safari support is planned for a future release. For now, use the web dashboard to save content from these browsers.

Keyboard Shortcuts

The extension supports keyboard shortcuts for power users:

You can customize these shortcuts in Chrome at chrome://extensions/shortcuts.

Privacy & Security

No background tracking - The extension only activates when you click it
Encrypted transmission - All data is sent securely over HTTPS
Token-based auth - Your password is never stored in the extension
Minimal permissions - Only requests the permissions it needs

Troubleshooting

Extension not saving content?

Make sure you're logged into your Noverload account
Check that your API token is valid in Settings → Apps
Try generating a new token if the old one isn't working

Token not working?

Go to Settings → Apps
Revoke your existing token
Generate a new one and paste it into the extension
